06 / Your questions

Built around your agency.

We already have project management software. What do you add?

We work on the financial information and recurring processes around your tools: cost attribution, reconciliations, accounting and reporting. Our finance experts help interpret the results with your team and decide what to do next.

Can you look at retainers as well as projects?

Yes. We can review the fees and delivery effort attached to recurring work, using an agreed period and consistent cost definitions. That helps you see where additional effort is affecting the economics of a client relationship.

How do you account for staff time and overhead?

We agree on a method that reflects your records and the decisions you need to make. Staff costs include the relevant employment costs; overhead is shown separately with a clear allocation method. We distinguish delivery margin from profit after those allocations.

What if our time or cost records are incomplete?

We identify the gaps and agree on practical improvements with your team. Any estimates are made explicit. A useful financial picture depends on reliable inputs, so we work on the process behind the report as well as the report itself.

Can you help before a project is finished?

Where current time, cost and delivery information is available, we can review spending against the agreed plan. Your project leaders provide the context and estimates of remaining work; together, we assess what needs attention.

Do you replace our bookkeeper or finance team?

The scope depends on what you already have. We can work alongside your team, provide additional finance expertise or take responsibility for agreed accounting and reporting work. We establish ownership at the start.
